I have finally finished the front flower bed after a lot of hard work and help from my hubby. It looks great

The pond

Scotty And I have a pond behind our house and love going on walks out there. We take the dogs with us because Cheyenne loves to swim :). It also helps to keep Lullie awake during the day by going on walks. Here is a couple pics of Cheyenne swimming I taught her how to fetch the ball. ;)

Chickens

We recently just got 5 baby chicks,and we put them up to the dogs to get them use to the chickens. Well they did great, except Sadie! I let the dogs in from outside and I walked to the kitchen and heard a huge bang in the mud room. It was Sadie, she had jumped into the bucket of chickens she snapped two of the chicks necks and took a bite of another one. I was so upset I have never been so sad about an animal dying. I love chickens and animals and was so mad she had killed them. Well anyway enough of the saub story. Scotty will be building us a chicken coop so we can chickens to lay us some eggs. Also I'm really wanting a chicken to kill for the meat. ;) so we will have to get a rooster too.

The kitchen

Well as you know I'm redoing the kitchen and its turned into a major pain in the butt. I started stripping the paint off the cabinets with this chemical that is not cheap. Turns out the cabinets have 6 layers of paint on them, it's really hard to get all the paint off but I'm doing it one step at a time now. I can't wait to get it all finished. So far I have gotten a few drawers painted and some doors and the part the cabinets go on. I am loving the barn red paint, it's turning out great. We will also be putting tile on the counter tops and tin as the back splash to keep the farm house look.

Cheyenne friend with benefits ha

We have yet another dog in total of 3. We have Cheyenne, Sadie, and beau. Cheyenne is a blue heeler and beau is a red heeler, we will be breeding Cheyenne and beau and sell her pups once she is old enough. I am so excited one for the money and two Lullie will love playing with puppies. It has been really hard having 3 dogs and a baby but a lot of fun living on our own little farm. There is always something for me to do out here, and it's good because we live about 30 mins from town.

Lullie is one month

I cannot believe its already been a month since our little cowgirl was born. She is such a huge blessing in our life. Scotty has been such a great daddy to her. He has been such a huge help for me at night also. She is extremely ticklish and scotty loves to tickle her. She smiles at us all the time and I've caught her laughing in her sleep to. She already loves sleeping with mommy and daddy everytime I put her in the bassinet she cries. She knows the difference already who knew. She is also getting really good at holding her head up and talking a lot. She's my little squeaker, she loves talking
